We have recently appointed 20-year-old Chloe Barrett to a Digital PR Executive role here at Souter PR.

A former apprentice of the Juice Academy where she gained a Digital Marketing and Social Media in Business qualification Chloe joins with 12 months consultancy experience under her belt.

She will work across Souters’ client base helping to run social media and PR campaigns in consumer, professional services and b2b sectors.

Managing Director Sue Souter said of the hire: “Chloe makes a big first impression. She has super skills on social, that natural urge to narrate the story, and is perfectly at ease on all platforms in support of our clients’ key messages and target audiences.”

Chloe is working directly with senior PRs at Souters to provide a potent mix of strategic broader communication expertise and planning together with the urgency and frequency of social.

Sue again: “We are developing effective working programmes together that marry social and classic PR to benefit clients.”

Chloe Barrett, commenting on the opportunity at Souters, said: “I have really settled in well and enjoyed working with Sue and the team in taking creative story content and making sure it works for clients digitally.

“Some of the programmes are using social as the lead discipline to engage direct with target customers so I am already playing a full role in those campaigns. It is exciting to have responsibility and to be developing my skills alongside such an experienced team.”

Chloe’s development is being supported by a proactive range of external and internal training programmes.

Sue again: “Digital is such a fast-moving space you have to be on top of changes and always looking to see how clients can benefit.”

Chloe is working on Roberts bakery, contemporary watch brand Tighes Timepieces, leading industrial flooring contractors Kemtile as well as Souter PR’s own digital marketing programme.
